HotCars - Senior Automotive Editor

We're looking for an SEO specialist to become our next Senior Automotive Editor on HotCars, one of the largest car enthusiast websites in the world.

The Role:

As a Senior Automotive Editor for HotCars' Evergreen Content Team, you will be responsible for identifying medium to long-term content opportunities, manage a team of editors and writers, and publish content that our audience on all platforms are craving to read.Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, planning, development, and delivery of editorial content for HotCars by applying our Evergreen SOP
• Edit and publish articles daily;
• Manage/develop our team of writers;
• Manage/develop our team of junior editors;
• Review pitches and provide feedback when needed;
• Implement best SEO practices;
• Stay up to date on industry trends;
• Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax;
• Identify keyword opportunities weekly
• Identify content opportunities for various traffic sources (Google, Facebook, etc)
• Work with the Talent Recruitment Team

Expectations:

• Knowledge of SEO and industry best practices;
• Practical knowledge with the ability to learn quickly;
• Driven to achieve goals through hard work;
• Good communication skills;
• Meticulous attention to detail and capability of producing flawless work;
• Previous editing experience is a plus.
