Job Description

The Clinic Supervisor is a member of the clinic management team at a Valley Cities (VC) clinic site. Reports directly to Clinic Manager, indirectly to Division Director, interfaces with management staff across the agency, leads a clinic team, and performs client facing clinical work as needed. Assists the Clinic Manager in developing and sustaining relationships with multiple community partners and resources. Supports the organizational mission and vision, emphasizing teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.

Essential Job Functions: (This is not the job description in its entirety)

  • Reports to Clinic Manager, leads a clinic team, ensures that clinic staff are aware of and following VC policies and procedures.

  • Provides overall support for operations at direction of Clinic Manager, including support for intakes, crisis management, hiring, and training.

  • Fosters culture of collaboration, peer consultation and commitment to professional improvement in conjunction with Clinic Manager.

  • Interprets and evaluates staff reports, observes performance and evaluates staff.

  • Works with Clinic Manager to problem solve clinic related issues.

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships both internally and externally.

  • Understands, monitors, and works within projected annual budget in collaboration with the Clinic Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MHP required, fully licensed preferred

  • Master's degree in human services, mental health, marriage and family or social work

  • Experience managing, supervising or leading within a clinic setting

  • Ability to develop and support clinic staff

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Pass required background checks/fingerprint check
