Job Summary & Deliverables

The Attending Clinician provides clinical supervision to assigned staff and programs. The Attending Clinician supports the Operations Director and Clinician Director. The Attending Clinician utilizes evidence-based practices, supports fiscal responsibilities, and ensures the regulatory compliance and organizational standards are met.

Essential Functions

  • Provides 20 hours of direct care to case load
  • Supervises clinical staff assigned
  • Executes staff trainings
  • Consults with the clinical team and oversees programs
  • Serves as first line expert to front line staff
  • Monitors all aspects of service delivery to ensure adherence to brand standards (diagnosis, treatment, professionalism, facility concerns, client experience, employee experience)
  • Communicates and collaborates with down line and Clinical Director
  • Facilitates staff meetings and huddles
  • Facilitates assigned programs
  • Interacts with internal and external customers in full alignment with Valley’s core values and vision statement
  • Maintains active Slack presence

Required Qualifications


  • Master’s Degree or higher
  • Experience
  • Two years of behavioral health experience


  • Utah LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT license in state of practice
  • CPR certification
  • Driving positions require a current Utah Driver’s License, must be 21
  • Safety Care Certification

Preferred Qualifications
