Diesel Mechanic

Our team is currently looking for a first shift (800am to 4:30pm) Diesel Technician to keep up our level of commitment to safety. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards and run diagnostics on vehicles. Diesel Technician performs all technical duties of a technician in service and repair of a heavy duty truck and trailer. Work on overhauling and maintaining diesel engines, transmissions, and other items used to operate trucks and trailers.

Diesel Technician ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Repair diesel engines (Detroit, Cummins, Caterpillar, etc).
• Service and repair work, drive train, steering, electrical, suspension and brakes. 
• Troubleshooting and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
• Obtains parts from stock.
• Cleans tools and working area.
• Paper work and/or R/O documentation.
• Basic computer literacy and good verbal communication skills.
• Performs other routine duties.
• Must be able to work independently.

Diesel Technician CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License, Commercial Driver License (CDL) preferred.
