We are seeking a Service Desk Technician/Systems Administrator III to analyze problems and provides tier 1 and tier 2 technical assistance, support, and advice to on site and remote end users for hardware, software, and systems. This role is based at our corporate office in Washington, DC near the Navy Yard and Nationals Park.
What you will be doing:
- Provide tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to end-users being the go-to expert on all things Office 365, hardware, and software.
- Microsoft Office 365 end user support to include the full business suite such as Exchange online, outlook, teams, and SharePoint
- Administer Office 365 Licensing
- Studies and resolves computer software and hardware problems of users.
- Acts as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems.
- Answers questions, applying knowledge of computer software, hardware, systems, and procedures.
- Support Azure Cloud services, Azure AD, Intune, Endpoint
- Proactively monitors the help desk and following SLA guidelines
- Creates and maintains O365 administration
- Consistently update record management of incidents using the help desk where incidents are tracked, prioritized, and resolved.
- Resolves tickets regarding onboarding, off boarding, and other daily
- End user support of normal day to day hardware and Software
- Audio conferencing support
- On Site point of contact
What do you need to have to start?
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / S.) from a fully accredited four-year college or university
- The following certifications, preferred: Microsoft Certifications or Security+
- 5 years of proven experience as an IT Administrator
- Experienced with Office 365 products, including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Excellent customer service
- Experience working with Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Basic understanding of hardware and software
- Basic understanding of network peripherals such as printers, scanners, audio, and video devices
- Able to troubleshoot issues and escalate when
- Language skills to read, comprehend, and interpret documents and procedure manuals to respond to user questions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong analytical skills, data sensibility, and an able communicator
- Must possess detail orientation and ability to work in a fast-paced work
- Basic level analytical and creative problem-solving skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic analytical ability to synthesize relatively complex or diverse information; collect and research data; utilize intuition and experience to complement data.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions.
- Interpersonal skills to work well with individuals and small and large groups, provide high quality customer service, and focus on solving conflict and remaining open to others’ ideas.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing and explain technical concepts in non- technical terms to clients and staff.
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiply priorities
- Adept at planning and organizing and identifying priorities and changing same when
- Must be a US Citizen.
