Sales Executive

VOTI Detection is seeking a Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team. Reporting to the Vice President, Global Sales, this person will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline of new accounts and managing current accounts. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, resourceful, organized and have impeccable communication skills. You will have had previous work experience as a member of a corporate sales team and a career track record of exceeding significant sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and develop key client relationships
  • Drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful
  • Identify new prospects and opportunities through the use of multiple sources of sales leads (Linkedin, Cold Call, Networking, Trade Shows etc..)
  • Follow up on leads generated and provided by marketing activities
  • Compile sales projections, forecasts and activity reports using Salesforce CRM
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and dealer status reports in close conjunction with the Vice President, Global Sales

Qualifications:

  • Minimum, Bachelor of Commerce Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years + of sales experience • Enterprise account experience an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability of uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new accounts
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Persuasive, and excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Effective communication skills with technology-oriented and senior business executives at the “C” level, as well as purchasing agents, ground level maintenance and shop floor workers
  • Proven track record of successful sales achievements with history of carrying and/or exceeding a sales quota
  • Ability to travel as needed to the United States (up to 30% of time)
