The Mobility (MO) Employee & Leadership Communications (ELC) Consultant is responsible for planning and implementing internal-facing business unit communications. Communications include executive platforms, messaging related to activities and events, employee programs, overseeing the Mobility intranet and digital communications, and writing, editing and publishing a monthly Mobility on the Move newsletter. This role will also interface with the Corporate Communications team.
Functional Responsibilities:
Provides primary marketing communications support for the Mobility division
Works in support of Mobility E&LC on employee and executive-level programs and produces an editorial calendar in support of these efforts
Supports and executes employee and leadership communications strategy to promote and support the mission, objectives and business goals of the organization
Works closely with the Corporate Communications and MO Business Groups in the implementation of internal programs and communications strategies including support of the intranet and corporate publishing, including monthly newsletter, intranet articles and internal announcements
Coordinate Internal Recognition Programs
Qualifications:
Ability to establish and sustain working relationships with key senior stakeholders in client
Ability to forge cross-organizational collaboration
Ability to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, preempt potential problems and provide effective solutions by application of concepts, knowledge, resources or processes
Knowledgeable and experienced with organizational change management practices
Ability to work with managers and employees of all levels in advising and gathering, preparing and vetting materials in a professional manner
2-4 years of experience with a strong emphasis in strategic employee communication, change management, internal company journalism
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing deadlines
Experienced collaborating with vendors, suppliers or agencies
Proven ability to influence and succeed in complex work environment
College degree (BS/BA) is required and advanced degree in communications and/or business (MBA) preferred
Ability to develop and execute strategic communication and marketing plans and initiatives
Highly organized, strong attention to detail, self-directed, ability to multi-task and reprioritize quickly in a fast-paced environment
Must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Illustrator and Photoshop experience a plus
