Sr. Database developer/application DBA
This position will be responsible for performing all database related activities including designing logical/physical data models, development and administration functions required by the project. This includes the design, development and support of database structures; setup and maintenance of all user access; ensuring that access is granted in accordance with all security requirements; regular monitoring of all environments; ensuring all data auditing requirements are satisfied; ensuring all data encryption requirements are satisfied; and ongoing database performance tuning.
Four (4) Years of experience developing and maintaining data models using tools such as CA ERwin Data Modeler and TOAD Data Modeler.
Four (4) years of experience with Sql development in Oracle developing database stored procedures, functions and triggers
Four (4) years of experience in support active development teams with DDL script creation, database change management and data modeling
Must have good knowledge on Oracle concepts like materialized view, roles, synonyms, grants, db links etc
Must be able to assist offshore and offsite development teams with database related activities
Must have strong SQL and database tuning & optimization experience
Must have experience in monitoring database/application related jobs
Must have experience in code migration, database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
Must have the ability to handle multiple project releases and deadlines
Must have understanding of new features of Oracle 11g/12c
Must have experience in analyzing the ADDM/AWR reports
Must have previous experience in coordinating with developers and promote changes across multiple environments
Must be able to ensure regular sync up of multiple database schemas located across different instances
Must be able to provide suggestions to Development teams on advanced Oracle features such as database partitioning, tablespace encryption etc
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Experience with public sector and health and human services programs such as TANF, Food Stamps (SNAP), and Medical Assistance or health insurance.
Two (2) years of Data warehouse experience supporting projects using ETL tools (eg. - Oracle Warehouse Builder, Pentaho Kettle and Spoon, Informatica)
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
IBM WebSphere, iLOG, IBM Cognos, MuleSoft ESB, Oracel Database, Quartz batch Scheduler, HP Extreme, IBM Security Access Manager and Identity Manager (Latest Versions)
