General Purpose
Provide store support and customer service on company-supported firewalls; troubleshoot firewall-related issues, offer layer 1 support, and communicate on e-mail threads.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor alerts, reach out to customers via phone and e-mail as needed
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
Follow documentation and standard procedures
Utilize internal and external ticketing system to log all interactions
Work with vendors as needed to determine root cause
Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
Write documentation, create reports
Inform management of recurring problems
Stay current with system information, changes and updates
Assist in training new team members with similar responsibilities
Education, Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree preferred
Working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment
Knowledge and experience of customer service practices
Related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support
