Chief Auxiliary Officer

Utah Community Action is hiring a Chief Auxiliary Officer. Lead and manage our Weatherization and Facilities Departments. Looking for a leader who is organized, manages other well, has good foresite. Must have a Bachelor Degree plus 5 years of related experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively and holistically with the executive team developing and guiding agency strategic direction
• Design, plan and implement business strategies, including operating procedures
• Strategic understanding of high-level budgeting
• Ensure that federal, state and local policies are implemented throughout the organization as they pertain to auxiliary services
• Maintain clean, comfortable environments in all our facilities
• Ensure all facilities are safe and secure for the children and families we serve
• Accountability, accuracy, and proactivity in maintaining deadlines with communication are of the utmost importance
• Oversee the addition of new facilities, remodels and renovations as needed
• Compliance and risk management
• Analyze and interpret data
• Strong leadership skills with experience motivating/coaching team members to excellence
• Maintain relationships with partners and vendors

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Oversee Weatherization and Facilities operations and the work of project teams

Travel

• This position may be required to travel multiple times a year for 3-5 days per trip for various conferences

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years of experience in senior leadership
• 5+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Community Action / Head Start / Weatherization
• Davis Bacon Experience
• Childcare licensing requirements children 0-5
• School safety practices
• Knowledge and understanding of working with individuals in poverty

Criminal background check, drug and alcohol testing is required. Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required.
