Job Title: Help Desk (Level 1-2)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (on the line of Calabasas)
Duration: 4-5 months
The IT Help Desk consists of two IT Technical Analysts, supporting approximately 300 end users. The business requirement for this Help Desk resource is to assist the team as we upgrade and deploy Windows 10 across the environment; onsite and remote offices in Burbank and West LA. Our team will need assistance deploying the Windows 10 machines and backfilling as the team goes out on the floor.
The team is responsible for answering phone calls, emails, tickets, and walk-up requests. We assist remotely as well as in-person. Customer service, professionalism, patience, and friendliness in addition to technical troubleshooting are critical skills for the team’s success. The team have longevity at MPTF and the business likes them. Some of the technologies we support/utilize and may request this resource to assist with are:
- Windows 7/10 support
- Imaging computers
- Office 365; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & SharePoint
- Dell desktops/laptops
- Mobile devices; iPhones, iPads
- Projector/Laptop presentation setups
- Password resets
- Basic hardware desktop/printer troubleshooting skills
- Good, clear, and professional communication
- Be able to lift 50+ pounds
- Effective documentation skills for creating tickets and documenting procedures or work performed.
- Swapping out of old machines with new machines, clean cable management skills.
- Team Player and able to take direction.
