Medical Operations Supervisor/Manager

Job Description

Xpress Urgent Care is looking for a Medical Operations Supervisor/Manager to join our team. As an urgent care, we pride our selves on delivering the best care possible and make getting medical care easy. We have locations in the Orange County region. This candidate should be strategic, analytical, and results-oriented, and can say they've mastered the art of people management.

  • Please note: This position is not REMOTE.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO and CFO and Medical Director.

  • Providing supportive, hands-on, and effective leadership, while also being an exceptional people manager by developing talent, setting direction, and deploying resources effectively and driving operational directives

  • Managing the processing team and holding them to a high standard of efficiency while establishing rapport with each team member

  • Evaluating the existing procedures and objectives by assessing current performance and processes as well as recommending and implementing improvements to enable scalability, cross-functional integration, and efficiency

  • Supervising teams and locations.

  • Assist with scheduling Payroll, Billing and Human Resources functions

  • Manage office supplies budget and purchase orders of their local office

  • Implement procedures to improve office performance (i.e. minimize session cancellations, minimize staff turnover)

  • Maintain client and employee privacy in accordance with CARD policy and HIPAA regulations

  • Attend/lead required training and meetings

  • Hold quarterly coaching sessions and annual performance reviews with direct reports (Administrative Staff)

  • Provide marketing support for the office, and meet minimum monthly growth requirements

  • Implement procedures which assist their local office in maximizing minimum billable requirements Must keep abreast of changing organizational needs as it relates to business systems, legal practices, HIPAA compliance, and technology

  • Know all aspects of the day to day procedures and different job responsibilities.

  • Scheduling

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience is preferred

  • 2-5 years of leadership and team management experience within healthcare services, insurance, or personal legal industry is required

  • Medical lien experience or Medical Administration experience is a must

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and GSuite is crucial

  • Comfortable with delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Familiarity with Medical Terminology is a plus

  • Candidates offered this position must pass a background check
