Commercial Drivers License, Class A or B Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card
Complete all training as required by the Company

Drives truck with capacity of more than 26,001lbs, at times with trailer of 10,001 lbs or more, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
All Truck Drivers are expected and required to help other crew members install Guide Rail and Signs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Oversees or loads and unloads truck. The Driver is responsible for the proper loading of all cargo on the truck and trailer, including securing of loads.
Drives truck to project sites. Helps other members of the crew unload and install Guide Rail and Signs.
Maintains truck log, according to State and Federal regulations.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water as required by Company Policy and good operating practices.
Performs roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs and other minor maintenance items.
Reports all maintenance items and safety concerns to Foreman or Superintendent. Maintain truck in a clean condition both inside and outside.
Operates various hand and power tools as required and qualified. Completes accident reports as required by Company Policy. Responsible for following all company safety policies.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed by uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, vehicular traffic near work area and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

The Truck Driver will be required to wear all safety equipment as mandated by Company Safety Policies.
This employee will be responsible for the health and safety of employees under his/her jurisdiction and will be held accountable for the proactive enforcement of all Safety Policies and Programs.
