**Summary of Job Duties**

Under general supervision, provide hardware, software, and network problem resolution to all Division of Agriculture computer users; troubleshoot both basic and more complex computer & printer problems including specialized analysis equipment used in lab and research environments. Maintain proper documentation; provide remote and telephone support relating to computer issues, specialty hardware & software, and network connectivity. Instruct users on proper policies, procedures, and operation of equipment and software. Verify users research data follows the Division of Agriculture's policies on data storage. Create Division-wide IT News articles, alerts, and notifications via website, social media and email. Represent the Division of Agriculture IT for public events, e.g. Judging for 4H. Up to 10% of time will consist of traveling to various Experiment Stations within Arkansas to perform above listed duties.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer applications, mathematics, or a related field.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**

Skill at performing new computer installs and data transfer.

Skill at performing new device and software training, e.g. Box Drive training.

Skill at troubleshooting software and hardware problems.

Skill at using document solutions for software and hardware problems.

Skill at using ticketing system data to determine frequent issues that will help with future IT decisions and tutorial.

Skill at supporting event technology and videoconferencing.

Skill at setting up and supporting SharePoint integrations with groups and Teams.
