**Summary of Job Duties**

The Assistant Director for Residence Education provides leadership to the supervision and development of all levels of staff for Residence Education and the University Housing team. This position provides an effective workflow for daily and cyclical processes within the unit. The Assistant Director for Residence Education serves as a member of the departmental senior management team, responsible for departmental planning and goal setting.

+ Master's degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or another related field from an accredited institution of higher education

+ At least three years full-time postmasters higher education experience

**Preferred Qualifications**



+ At least five years of post master's, progressively responsible experience in Student Affairs

+ Experience working in a residence hall

+ Experience leading a team of full-time student staff in training and development initiatives
