**Summary of Job Duties**

The Administrative SpecialistIIIis responsible for researching and preparing special reports, examining and verifying documents and performing general office duties.



This position will support office activities and serve as the departmental webmaster. This position will also maintain all departmental leave (appointed and hourly), serve as the departmental receptionist, regularly ship/receive packages and assist with events.



As this person serves as the first point of contact for the department, regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is essential.

The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field; plus three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience with OmniUpdate and Word Press



Experience with Adobe Creative Suite



Experience withBASISand webBASIS.



Experience working in a University of Arkansas Departmental office.



**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)**

Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must. This is the first person that guests to the department interact with. Current knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe creative suite are a must. Knowledge of the University of Arkansas and the Division of Agriculture would be very helpful. Ability and willingness to interact with a diverse population is a must. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work around lots of interruptions is essential.
