Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Opportunity

The University Cancer and Blood Center, LLC, a prominent community-based cancer care center, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to join our well-established practice in Athens, GA.

The University Cancer and Blood Center, LLC, For nearly 40 years, has been committed to serving the oncology and hematology needs of our local Athens community, including the Northeast Georgia region and beyond. We’re intent on providing the highest level of care possible while remaining increasingly focused on a more comprehensive approach to address and serve the broader needs of our patients and their families through offering services such as: chemotherapy and radiation therapy, a cutting-edge Theranostics treatment program, our in-house pharmacy, a robust clinical trials program that is the second largest clinical trial program in the state, a Live Well program which covers a large spectrum of cancer care from diagnosis to survivorship, social support services, transportation, and palliative care. We will be expanding our service lines and adding Primary Care Medicine to our practice, in an effort to support our mission and philosophy of providing the best possible outcome for every patient who walks through our doors.


About the Role:

Provides comprehensive medical services for members of the family, regardless of age or sex within scope of training. Services will include primary care and treatment, preventative care, immunizations, health education, prescribing of medications, ordering and interpreting lab testing, physical examinations, STD screenings, Vision/hearing, family planning, nutrition.
