The Assistant RN Nurse Manager (ANM), as part of an interdisciplinary team, is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager with managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice, and facility policy, goals, and objectives on the assigned communities. This position contributes to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to nursing staff, primarily, the MHT's. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of MHT's and, in the absence of or on behalf of the Nurse Manager, the licensed nursing staff on the designated units. This is a working position with assigned shifts as a lead nurse on the community, as well as hospital/administrative supervisor duties.
