CDL Class A Driver

We are seeking a CDL Class A Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating  a truck and trailer with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Weekly pay, local routes, home nightly!

Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle safely within DOT regulations that govern safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance 
• Meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. Dept. of Transportation and satisfactorily pass a drug test and alcohol test (if necessary).
• Follow all traffic laws and accident procedures.
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to supervisor
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year Commercial Driver Experience.
• Valid CDL A License
• Current DOT Physical Card.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Not cited for a D.O.T. defined accident in the previous 3 years
• No serious offenses in the previous 7 years or pattern of unsafe practices
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic

  • Exceptional time management and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws that regulate the road freight transport industry.
  • Ability to drive safely, irrespective of the weather and time of day.
  • Must have the ability to read, write and understand English.
  • US work authorization (preferred)
