### Summary

You will serve as a Special Operations Coordinator in the Maritime
Operations Directorate (N04)of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.

### Responsibilities

- You will serve as principal advisor to the senior leadership and
subordinates for supporting strategic operational level product
development and information sharing.
- You will develop, review, and prepare Special
Operations/EOD/Diving and Salvage plans, watch-to-watch
directives, operations orders, and directives required for the
Commander to execute Service support for Maritime Homeland
Defense (MHD) missions.
- You will provide direct support in coordinating the development
of Flag Officer staff briefing books, electronic briefing
materials, correspondence and other presentations materials.
- You will oversee the implementation of Special Operations in
joint planning and advise senior leadership on the potential
impact of joint/unilateral maritime operations and policy.
- You will represent the command on video teleconferences (VTCs)
with CDR USNORTHCOM, CDR USSTRATCOM, CNO/OPNAV staff, and other
agencies and commands as required.
- You will be responsible for all Special Operations
information-sharing functions of the Fleet Command Center (FCC)
in support of the Homeland Defense, Homeland Security, and
Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) missions.
- You will produce and deliver specialized, national-level SPECAT
products to support DOD and interagency (DOJ, DOS, DOE) and
partner nation classified information.
- You will manage USFF staff SCIF as the Special Security
Representative for Commander, US Fleet Forces Command, and N3
(Fleet and Joint Operations), in accordance with DOD, NAVSUP,
and SECNAV instruction.

- This position may require travel 25% or greater from normal duty
station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated
sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial
aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including
nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.
Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may
be required.

### Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized
experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in
the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or
public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the
following:
- Developing, reviewing, and preparing Special Operations,
Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD), and Diving and Salvage
operation plans, procedures, and directives;
- Formulating and presenting strategic and operational level
conclusions and recommendations based upon sound analysis and
evaluation of plans, policies, and experimentations;
- Performing all aspects of personnel security from initial
applications for clearance, investigation and reinvestigation
requirements, criteria for access to SCI and pertinent reports;
- Providing training and education pertaining to Special Security
Programs' security awareness and education;
- Developing staff briefing books, electronic briefing materials,
correspondence, and other presentation materials to support
missions, functions, and tasks; and
- Coordinating and executing ashore, afloat, and regional planning
of exercises and wargames in support of training and concept
development.
