Our growing company is seeking to hire a Project Coordinator who will be assisting our Directors in organizing our ongoing projects. This task involves monitoring project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.
To be successful as a Project Coordinator, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, PM software, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. A bachelor's degree in a related field of study and at least three (3) years of relevant experience is required (telecom experience is preferred) for consideration.
Duties include the following, but other duties may be assigned as required.
+ Acts in capacity of a "lead person". Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.
+ Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
+ Ensuring project aligns with set strategy and budget.
+ Analyzing risks and opportunities and providing solutions where applicable.
+ Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings; Ensuring stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
+ Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
+ Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
+ Assigning tasks to internal teams and assisting with schedule management.
+ Acting as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
+ Ensuring standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
+ Developing project strategies and determining project changes.
+ Creating a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
+ Ensuring project deadlines are met.
+ Undertaking project tasks as required; Providing administrative support as needed.
+ Providing technical management support to directors, managers, and the business team to facilitate, expedite, and drive to closure all assigned projects. Administer project requirements related to document collection, document review for quality and accuracy, timing of activities and bridges communication between field personnel and subcontractors.
+ Providing subcontractors with information and support, as outlined within contract specifications, to allow work to proceed as scheduled.
+ Monitors project workflow using project management software, advises on improvements or corrections where needed.
+ Provide weekly status reports to CFO.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Licenses/Certificates:
+ Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study or an equivalent of education and/or experience.
+ A minimum of three years of experience in related field preferred.
+ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
+ Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
+ Hands-on experience with project management tools.
+ Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Knowledge and Personal Qualifications:

+ Ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
+ Excellent time management and communication skills
+ Experience in project management from conception to delivery.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
+ Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
+ Knowledge file management, transcription, and other administrative procedures.
+ Ability to work on tight deadlines.
