Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

 

The Cash Management Manager (CMM) will be responsible for managing the sales, delivery and servicing of all cash management products and services for their assigned region.  The CMM will personally be instrumental in meeting with prospective and existing clients in regards to new accounts and cash management products and services, and assisting Client Relationship Managers, Business Development Officers and other personnel with outside sales calls.  Travel is required for this position.  This position will be responsible for ensuring that all clients seeking assistance from their department receive professional, friendly, accurate and efficient service at all times, and that cross selling techniques are applied to every client interaction. This position will be responsible for providing training, guidance and support to the Deposit Service Specialists and Deposit Service Officers, and for ensuring that all department personnel know all of the feature functionality of all of our cash management and electronic banking services, and can perform all of the duties and responsibilities associated with those services.  The CMM is also responsible for ensuring that all department duties and responsibilities are performed accurately, timely and according to bank policies and procedures.  This position will be also be responsible for handling our New Accounts training sessions as well as training on all of our electronic banking and cash management products and services as assigned.   If applicable, the CMM will also be responsible for managing an Electronic Banking Support Center and related personnel, and for ensuring that all clients receive professional, friendly, accurate and efficient service at all times, and that cross selling techniques are applied to every client interaction.  This position will also participate in the hiring process for department personnel, ensuring that all new employees are properly trained in their roles, and that they are good ambassadors for the bank.  This position will assist the Director of Branch Administration in a variety of other tasks and responsibilities.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

 

1. Manage the sales, delivery and services of all cash management products and services for their assigned region.

 

2. Manages the enrollment, set-up and service delivery for all Cash Management products and services, as well as all electronic banking products and services.

 

3. Manages an Electronic Banking Support Center and related personnel, if assigned.

 

4. Assists the Director of Branch Administration and the Chief Operating Officer with other duties as assigned.

 

5. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with clients, other staff, and executive management.

 

6. Assumes responsibility for other related duties as required or assigned.

 

5. Assumes Responsibility for following all bank policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines, and for attending all required training.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

 

Required Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Branch Operations, Cash Management, Deposit Related Compliance laws and regulations and standard banking practices.

 

Experience Required: Five years of previous management experience and a minimum of 10 years bank experience in Branch Operations.

Good math skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office software package.

Ability to operate related computer hardware and other business equipment including adding machine, typewriter, copy machine, telephone, encoder and paper shredder.
