*Note: This will be a full-time position when we are able to open the facility to rentals, but during the pandemic, it is an 80% time position (32 hours/week).
The Administrative Manager supports the leadership, multiple committees, and diverse membership of the congregation by taking responsibility for general administration, communications strategies, rental coordination, and facilities management across UUCSR. Oversees a team of office volunteers and receptionists. Attends Board of Trustee meetings once per month and provides report on status of administrative services; attends Glaser Center Committee and Operations Team meetings and reports on pertinent matters. Has spending authority within parameters. Uses Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel), Google Calendar, email, G-Suite, Constant Contact, Zoom, and other software to ensure consistent and timely communication with the congregation regarding meetings and services, and through the production of the congregational newsletter, announcements and orders of service. Serves as primary manager, trainer, and support for our Realm church management software. Although rental operations are suspended, the Administrative Manager will represent the facility to potential renters, create and organize contracts, and schedule the On-Site Staff for event support. Provides administrative support to the Board of Trustees, Minister, and several UUCSR committees.
Insurances: Individual Health (with employee contribution), Dental, Vision, Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Long Term Disability. Retirement program with 5% employer contribution. Contributions to Social Security and Medicare. Time off including 2 weeks vacation, 12 sick leave days, 2 personal days, and 9 holidays per year. Annual merit increase program and cost-of-living adjustments when appropriate. Benefits are approximately 30% on top of regular salary.
Hours: 80% to 100% time*, mostly on week days, along with several evenings a month and occasional weekend days
Reports to: Minister and Executive Committee
Supervises: Sexton, On-Site Staff, Bookkeeper, and Volunteers
Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2020 or as agreed
Compensation: $40,000 to $48,000/year at 80% time
$50,000 to $60,000/year at 100% time
