Clinical Nurse Manager

Unique Rehabiliation and Health Center seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for its 230 bed skilled nursing facility in NW, Washington, DC.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse Manager assures that residents receive quality residential care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their daily needs. Provide direction, guidance and leadership to staff.  

Minimum Qualifications 

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
• Registered Nurse with active District of Columbia license or eligible for licensure.
• At least 2 years of management experience
• At least 2-3 years of long term care experience preferred.
• IV certification and MDS, Care Planning a definite plus.
• Knowledge of MDS, Medicaid/Medicare and all pertinent Federal, local, and industry specific regulations.
• Electronic medical record experience required; experience with MATRIX preferred.
• Highly organized, detail oriented with demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate utilizing diverse mediums across various levels. 
• Utilization of critical thinking and possess the ability to energize others.
• Ability to successfully pass drug test and background check.
