Position Summary: The Business Analyst works with Business Solutions Managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit high-level requirements. Leverage new and existing systems and business processes to provide process improvements and organizational effectiveness across the bank.

Essential Functions:
- Works with Business Solutions Managers and other stakeholders to understand business needs and elicit high-level requirements.
- Leverage existing systems and business processes to provide enhanced business capabilities to current business processes.
- Gather requirements on newly submitted project requests and support discovery efforts to understand current state through collection and analysis of baseline data.
- Understand the customer journey to identify opportunities and define user requirements.
- Acts as a liaison between business owners and development team(s).
- Assess the risks of various solutions and prioritize business demands.
- Promote consistency and usability standards to define and execute test cases.
- Support the product owner by helping analyze the business domain, stock the product backlog and groom the product backlog.
- Convey complex and technical issues to diverse audiences and project a credible image in communications and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
- Provide analytical support to process development and improvement efforts.
- Perform 3rd party product research and present recommendations to management.
- Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training and follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
- Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study or equivalent work experience
- Software and workflow design and business process improvement and analysis experience preferred
- Ability to conduct small and large group presentations.
- Previous training experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
