As a Director of Security you will be:

• Assess current needs; develop, implement, and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise-wide information security and security engineering program to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information owned, controlled or processed by the company.
• This role will to act as the advisor to Executive Leadership and Engineering as well as be the subject matter expert in all security matters globally.
• Partner closely with all stakeholders and product engineering to ensure that all products, applications, and platforms are developed with security in mind and appropriate security controls have been implemented.
• Lead the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures based on industry- standard best practices.
• Ensures security is an enabler and a feature for digital products.
• Evangelizes and teaches security engineering with entire product engineering department making security a responsibility at the source of development
• Check in on customer or company audits in progress and help.
• Discuss confidential M&A materials to ensure leadership is aware of material risks; ensure the smooth transition of acquired companies into the company’s platform and security program.

• Lead the effort to further develop security standards, procedures, and guidelines for digital products, multiple platforms, applications and systems as well as evaluating existing information security procedures and identifying new areas of risk.
• Identify changes that will impact the security program and recommend appropriate changes. Take all actions needed to meet audit and regulatory requirements.
• Creating energy and enthusiasm at all levels of the information security organization.
• Effectively coach and mentor the team to ensure their continued success.
• Serve as a thought leader in the CISO community internally and externally, to help strengthen the security community as a whole.
