Job Description

ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented DTC Content Marketing Manager to join the eCommerce Team! Individual reports to Director of DTC Content Strategy. Role is hybrid (Costa Mesa or NYC + Remote) or remote; must reside in the United States.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As DTC Content Marketing Manager, you will be an integral part of the content strategy team, helping enhance the content experience for UltraMobile.com as well as providing content project support for MintMobile.com. You will strategize and execute content programs for new content creation (landing pages, support resources, videos, emerging content formats) and execute tactics to enhance existing content performance. As Content Marketing Manager, you should be driven by data, love to think creatively, and have a knack for putting yourself in the shoes of your users.

Your usual day of awesomeness includes:  

  • Partnering with the content strategy team to plan, develop, and implement content strategies to improve organic visibility, drive new traffic, support site engagement, and build trust.
  • Ideating and strategizing content solutions based on customer needs at each stage of the sales journey.
  • Spearheading content creation process from ideation through implementation, including but not limited to; blog posts, interactive, landing pages, videos, help and support content.
  • Working with internal teams, including our award-winning internal Creative Agency, product, and brand teams to bring content experiences to life and ensure they are accurate and brand-aligned.
  • Managing on-site support content/FAQs to ensure resources help a user understand and use the products.
  • Creating content briefs and wireframes for content initiatives, conducting research, outlining SEO opportunities for content writers, objectives and KPIs, amplification recommendations.
  • Identifying and executing tactics to increase visibility of content (E.g. internal linking).
  • Conducting competitor research, analyze data and customer insights to identify new content opportunities.
  • Building regular content performance reports, monitoring and communicating KPIs, project statuses, and analyzing data to inform action.
  • Keeping informed on industry trends and best practices, competitive landscape, etc. apply insights to strategy.

WHAT YOU BRING

  •  4+ years of content marketing, content-based SEO, or product marketing experience either in-house or at an agency.
  • Experience working on a variety of content campaigns with strong grasp of content development workflows and content marketing tactics.
  • Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. 
  • Experience doing keyword research and competitor analysis.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for copywriting; familiarity with industry-leading SEO tools (Conductor, BrightEdge) a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize without missing a beat.
  • Exceptional project management skills are a must, as is internal communications and shepherding projects from start to finish working with various stakeholders on feedback and approvals.
