Weatherization Energy Auditor

The Energy Auditor position conducts home energy audits and educates consumers on energy usage.
You will serve as a representative of UCCAC Inc. displaying courtesy, consideration, and discretion with clients and general public.
Responsibilities include:
Fully understanding all programs requirements
Complete diagnostic Energy Audits to program standards in a timely fashion
Complete formal writeups of energy audit findings
Develop detailed work scopes, pricing, measures, and quantities to be completed by Weatherization Crewmembers and directs sub-contracted work accordingly
Proficiency in all diagnostic equipment required for building analysis
Educate consumers regarding energy conservation measures
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
HS Diploma
Minimum 5 years construction
Minimum 3 years residential energy usage
Pricing and contractor relations
Valid NYS Drivers License
OSHA Certification Preferred
BPI Analyst
HERS Rater Certification
Skills required:
Computer proficiency
Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions
Ability to use common hand tools
Detailed oriented
Excellent verbal and written skills
