Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing customer orders from sales close through installation. The Customer Service Representative will also at times assist designers in pricing customizations or assisting other questions regarding permitting or operations. Throughout the project, the Customer Experience Specialist will be the primary contact for the customer and guide the order through confirmation, permitting, scheduling, manufacturing, installation, payments, and finally raving fan review.

Job Duties:
  • Finalize and confirm orders and payment schedule with customers on the same day next day basis from Designer close, preference is the warm handoff from Designer.
  • Determine permitting/HOA requirements and create a plan for getting the permit/HOA approval.
  • Enter the order into accounting software.
  • Schedule the install date according to lead time standards and get customer confirmation.
  • Work with the factory to ensure the install schedule is achieved.
  • Manage all change orders with customers, factory, and accounting.
  • Responsible for collecting all payments according to the schedule, not allowing the next step in the process to proceed unless the payment schedule is met.
  • Communicate directly with the customer thru phone calls, emails, and text messages on the status of their delivery.
  • Maintain the shed and cabin CRM database on the status of each order.
  • Ensure 5-star customer service by delivering the "Ulrich Experience" by interacting with team members and management as necessary.
  • Daily participation in "Daily Huddle", in person or remotely.

  • Annualized base pay can range from $40-60k depending on experience

  • Ulrich Headquarters in downtown Fort Worth, TX
  • Class A Office Building
  • This is not a remote working position


  • Basic computer knowledge and databases; proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Email, etc.
  • CRM Experience - HubSpot Preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively with both customers and team members.
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to be proactive and operate with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Very organized and proficient in prioritizing work tasks with ease.
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • 3-5 years of experience providing customer service or client interaction
