USAF Squadron Ops Support - (ASOS-19-0638-W):
Bowhead is seeking fulltime personnel for the 389th and 391st Fighter Squadrons (FS), Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. We are accepting applications for the following positions:
2 Scheduling Managers
2 Training Managers
2 Standardization & Evaluations Managers
2 SCIF Security Managers
2 Unit Deployment Managers
2 Unit Program Coordinators
Individuals will assist the 389th and 391st to meet operational readiness and sustain in-place forces to fulfill worldwide Combatant Commander (COCOM) missions. The focus will be to support additional duties traditionally accomplished by squadron pilots. This
is a contingent requirement.
Essential functions for each position include:
Scheduling Managers will manage/coordinate all aspects of the squadron scheduling program to include coordinate with the Unit Operations Training, Stan/Eval, Mobility and Deployment offices, and Operations Officer (DO) to arrange a schedule to facilitate
mission qualification, upgrade, test, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards, in accordance with DO priorities.
Training Managers will manage/coordinate all training aspects within the squadron, to include certification programs, currency and upgrade training.
Stan/Eval Managers will maintain accountability/control of testing materials, update Stan/Eval data in PEX (or local proprietary management system), review and update student-permanent party records/folders, monitor testing, evaluations and training requirements
and generate reports/forms/ correspondence.
SCIF Security Managers will assist Program Security Manager in developing and implementing security policies, plans, and procedures (such as SOPs, system security, program test, and OPSEC plans) for all personnel and facilities that support advanced or special
programs and provide direct oversight of all vault activities for the squadron.
Unit Deployment Managers (UDM) will manage all aspects of the squadron mobility office/infrastructure to include individual and squadron training, preparing individuals/ equipment for deployment, processing of individuals/equipment for deployment, maintain
LOGMOD databases and coordination with wing level offices on deployment issues.
Unit Programs Coordinators (UPC) will Serve as the primary point of contact to the squadron commander/director for administrative support programs such as task management, health care program, fitness program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment
(ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program.
Two (2) years of experience working in a Squadron (FS /ASOS), Group, or Wing Scheduling Program; or five (5) years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing Scheduling Office.
Two (2) years of experience working with PEX (4.1.1) / TACTICS (4.1.2) or similar proprietary scheduling program.
Two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft

Two (2) years of experience working in a Squadron, Group or Wing Training Program; or five (5) years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing Training Program.
Two (2) years of experience working with PEX (4.2.1) / TACTICS (4.2.2) or similar proprietary scheduling program.
Two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Two (2) years of experience working in a Squadron, Group, or Wing Standardization and Evaluation Program; or five (5) years of experience working in a DoD Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing Standardization and Evaluation Program.
Two (2) years of experience working with PEX (4.3.1) / TACTICS (4.3.2) or similar proprietary scheduling program.
Two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.

SCIF Security Manager:
TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
Experience with USAF Fighter Squadron, Group, or Wing Weapons and Tactics shop security related operations; or two (2) years of experience with DoD Flying Squadron, Group, or Wing Weapons and Tactics shop security related operations.
Experience applying policies and procedures outlined in DoDM 5205.07 vol's 1-4, 1CD-705, and any other SAP requirements set forth from MAJCOM and/or Wing AP.
Experience with information, industrial, and personnel security concepts, principles, and practices, participating in the planning and implementation of security programs within the organization.
Experience with required security training concepts, programs, procedures, and practices, assisting managers in establishing and complying with internal security programs.
Experience with developing, analyzing, and evaluating security programs, meeting mission requirements and improving the organization's security program.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing through clear, concise, and technically accurate written materials.
Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
Unit Deployment Manager:
Requires one or more years of experience working in a squadron-level or higher mobility office.
Secret Security clearance
Unit Programs Coordinator:
Requires one or more years of experience providing administrative support in a squadron-level or higher environment.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Seeking qualified individuals who currently hold an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
