Customer Experience Manager

Uber Works is looking for a Customer Experience Manager who will be our ‘eyes and ears’ at our most important shifts, facilitating the relationship between clients and workers, ensuring shift success, and working with the customer experience team lead and regional client success manager on solutions to grow the account. You will be working at the client sites throughout Chicago, on a flexible schedule (minimum 25 hours/week).

Responsibilities:

  • In-person and remote onboarding of new clients

  • Supervision of our most important shifts (e.g. a clients’ first shift)

  • Complete a shift recap including worker and client feedback to the team lead after every shift and do regular de-briefs with the regional CSM

  • Facilitate the communication between workers and the client

  • Provide on the spot training to workers based on clients’ requirements

  • Be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the regional CSM - including identifying opportunities for growth, potential threats to the accounts etc - and working with the CSM on a resolution

  • Resolve problems as they arise and escalate to the appropriate POCs as needed

  • Be the connection between our operations team and the shift for any ad-hoc requests (e.g. doing a worker count)

Requirements:

  • Be able to work min. 25 hours per week, ideally on a flexible schedule

  • Customer service experience - ideally in the light industrial or hospitality industry

  • Have a clear and informative communication style, strong relationship building skills and highly professional attitude

  • Be 100% reliable - complete all shifts you have signed up for

  • Enjoy coming up with and implementing creative solutions to problems

  • Quickly adapt to rapidly changing requirements and customer needs, comfortable with ambiguity

  • Availability to start immediately
