The University of Texas School of Public Health at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health invites applications to fill a tenured or tenure-track faculty position as Regional Campus Dean at the Professor level on the UTHealth San Antonio Campus located in the San Antonio.
Position Key Accountabilities:
The candidate is expected to be an energetic and visionary leader having the ability to implement a long-term vision for the San Antonio Campus, to develop new research and teaching programs, to increase and complement the success of existing programs, to mentor UTHealth School of Public Health junior faculty and students, and to engage in collaborative research with faculty at UTHealth School of Public Health, San Antonio Campus, and partner institutions in San Antonio.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in public health, epidemiology, health promotion, biostatistics, management policy, or a related field, and the qualifications/credentials commensurate with an appointment as a tenured or tenure-track, professor at the San Antonio Campus of UTHealth School of Public Health. Candidates should also have a strong record of independent and collaborative research, successful history of securing extramural funding, outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and a record of leadership.
