Tax Accountant CPA Firm

US Tax Services LLC is an established firm in the Tigard area. The growth of the business necessitates the creation new tax accountant position to join our expanding team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing both business and individual income tax returns for numerous clients.

Responsibilities:

· Request, collect and compile all necessary documents needed to prepare tax returns
· Process federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and businesses
· Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
· Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
· Maintain constant communication with the IRS, State Agencies, and our clients and team members
· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
· Work with tax returns and analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Compensation & Other Benefits:

• Salary of $55,000 to $70,000 depending on past experience and capabilities.

Bookkeeping: 2 year (Preferred)
Payroll: 2 year (Preferred)
Tax Preparation: 1-2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA or CPA Candidate (Preferred)
• Licensed Tax Consultant (Preferred)
• Licensed Tax Preparer
• QuickBooks Pro Adviser
