Senior Software Engineer (Blockchain)

ULedger is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our team and take our blockchain technology to the next level.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will dive right in and play a critical role in building ULedger’s Blockchain-as-a-Service platform. You will be a part of a dynamic team driving the development of highly innovative and cutting-edge blockchain technology. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, possesses strong leadership skills, experienced with creating tech roadmaps that balance business and R&D needs, and passionate about blockchain and Web3 technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and communicate critical paths for tech roadmaps and product development
• Understand business requirements and offer various options for realizing business objectives
• Develop core functionality and new features for the ULedger blockchain
• Innovate new technical approaches to solve problems in decentralized systems
• Lead and mentor a small engineering subteam to deliver on high priority tasks, in collaboration with the Product team
• Ensure tech documentation is detailed, up-to-date, easy to navigate
• Reinforce software engineering best practices that are adapted to specific internal development needs
• Conduct product demos and technical presentations for a variety of audiences
• Stay on top of the latest technologies and trends in the blockchain and Web3 space to anticipate future tech and resource needs

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Applied Math or related technical discipline, and/or strong experience as a core developer for a Layer 1 blockchain protocol
• 5+ years professional software development experience
  
• Proficient in C++ (11-20)
  
• Expertise working in real-time, highly concurrent 
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Maintains strong work ethic, high integrity and transparency in day-to-day workflows
• Solid experience with blockchain infrastructure and smart contract development or strong track record of building complex systems for mass adoption
