Software Developer ( IRS508-19-1204-F):
Bowhead seeks a Software Developer to work with a team of IRS professionals to maintain the 508 Compliance for its customers. Section 508 Program Office is an organization within the US Department of the Treasury's, Office of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) that provides agency wide support Assistive Technology (AT) as a reasonable accommodations and technical Section 508 guidance for IRS projects and Agency initiatives.
- Create SharePoint site templates, and convert Legacy non-508 compliant SharePoint sites
- Perform SharePoint Accessibility testing
- Create custom Assistive Technology plug-ins for SharePoint.
- Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in at least one programming language.
- Demonstrated ability to create software applications.
- Understand client requirements and how they translate to new application features
- Intranet/ Internet development skill/knowledge.
- Experience with Angular JS, React Native, Powershell is beneficial
- Bachelor's Degree is strongly desired. Computer science, information systems, or engineering fields of study preferred.
- 5 Years of application development experience
- Current Public Trust with Department of Treasury preferred, but not required
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
