The Shipping/Receiving Assistant Supervisor understands the importance of moving freight into and throughout the building quickly, efficiently, and accurately. Your organizational skills and ability to successfully coach a diverse team through every phase of the process will be critical in driving results.


  • Develop, implement & execute daily plans that are aligned with US Vision’s goals
  • Continually look for ways to improve and make recommendations to improve performance
  • Actively train, supervise, and coach the team in the receiving, processing, ticketing, sorting, and moving of merchandise from the shipping/receiving platform through the floor
  • Manage all-important documents such as receiving paperwork, inventories, bills of lading etc.
  • Audit, validate and report on inventory using purchase orders and ticketing
  • Provides data-driven input regarding supplier incidents, concerns and corrective actions
  • Enforces all safety and quality standards

  • Prior management experience is required
  • Prior experience in a warehouse role performing shipping, receiving and inventory duties
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work and influence others across multiple functions and disciplines
  • Ability to measure productivity against available staff hours
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office including Excel
