Hollywood Golf ClubFacilities Maintenance Technician - Job Description and Requirements...The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for the hands-on, day to day maintenance of all buildings and equipment on property.He or She will work directly with the Equipment and Facilities Manager to repair and maintain all physical and mechanical issues with all buildings and included systems to the best of their ability in a manner that is most beneficial for the organization and its membership.The Facilities Maintenance Technician will prioritize work needed based on importance and input from the Equipment and Facilities Manager.Safety and efficiency, with minimal disturbance to the membership will be most important for the success of the applicant.The Facilities Maintenance Technician must be an open minded, team player and able to work with all club employees but must possess the independence to get the job done with minimal assistance on most day-to-day activities.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :Responsibilities Semi-weekly walkthrough of all buildings. Record and report any issues to the facilities manager. Diagnose needed repairs and suggest capital improvements.

Complete exterior maintenance around the buildings. This includes sweeping, picking up trash, cleaning gutters and other areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Acquire all tools and supplies necessary in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible. Maintain neat and accurate record keeping of all repairs and maintenance performed. Maintain an effective stock and inventory of all common wear items to minimize downtime.

(i.e. light bulbs, hvac filters, batteries)Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid New Jersey Driver's License. Must be capable of comfortably lifting 50lbs on occasion.

Must have elementary knowledge of general construction techniques, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair. Must show up on time, in uniform, with a positive attitude. Must be open minded and willing to learn.

Must be dedicated and willing to get the job done properly, the first time. Must be available to work weekends if needed.The Facilities Maintenance Technician position is a full time, year-round job at a seasonal country club. All workdays greater than (4) hours will include a 45-minute lunch break, 30 minutes of which will be un-paid.The in-season (April-November) hours of work will be :Tuesday 6am-2 : 30pmWednesday 6am-2 : 30pmThursday 6am-2 : 30pmSunday offOut of season (December March), the hours will be :Sunday offAll hours and schedules will be subject to change, within reason, to best serve the club and its functions.Hollywood Club Management reserves the right to modify or change, at any time, the activities and tasks prescribed in this job description.Powered by JazzHRLast updated : 2022-07-14
