EXPERIENCED RVT/Veterinary Tech/Assistant

Immediate Full-Time Position Available for an Experienced Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant.

Required 1-2 years experience in the veterinary field. RVT license not required, but preferred.

Job duties include:
* IV catheter placement
* Blood collection
* X-rays
* Dental cleaning
* Pet restraint
* Anesthetic monitoring
* Surgery assistance
* Light grooming
* Drug logging
* Pharmacy stocking, product ordering and inventory monitoring
* Monitoring hospitalized patients
* Excellent and friendly client communication skills, and work delegation.

RVT Only: Dental extraction and anesthesia induction

We are hoping to find a candidate that has interest in training less experienced staff members and will harmonize with our animal hospital's culture.

We are currently a two doctor Animal Hospital located in San Marcos, CA that is relocating and growing exponentially. We are looking for reliable, positive, and friendly people to join our team. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8-6. Currently, we are not open on Saturdays, but that could change in the future.
