Security Systems Technician

Twenty20 Solutions is currently accepting applications for Security Systems Technician candidates for its Baton Rouge, Louisiana office. The ideal candidate will have integration experience with installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting all aspects of server-based IP surveillance camera and systems, alarm systems and access control components and systems.

Job Requirements

Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of IP surveillance, alarm and access control components and systems:

• Install and configure security cameras, card/keypad readers and door hardware in different environments.
• Terminate cabling at end devices and control panels
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with camera, security and alarm systems
• Configure Video Management System servers and Access Control systems.

Technical Skills:

• Read, interpret and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuits. Candidate should have a background in Security or the electrical field for this position.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls with a multi-meter.
• Knowledge of key card access, NVR/DVR products, VMS, electronics, computer systems, electronics and networked applications.
• Experience with commercial security systems / software such as is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
