Position Summary
The PR & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for administrative support and execution of PR and communications strategies that support Amobee's mission and vision to be the global advertising leader in the convergence of TV, digital, and social. The primary purpose of this role is to enable the output of the public relations and communications team and wider marketing team and the Amobee executive team, offering support to management and expertise in one or more key functional areas of public relations and/or communications, including: media relations, public relations, award entries, social media management, speaking entries, executive messaging, events and internal communications.
Must enjoy working in a global fast paced, tech-focused environment with a public parent company. The ideal individual can exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple, shifting priorities. The PR & Social Media Coordinator will have the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion, and must be able to handle confidential matters with discretion. Expected to be able to accommodate international and national PR and press announcement scheduling as needed and will need to work outside of normal office hours scope with regularity and accommodate international schedules as needed.
Conduct market research that will inform the strategic planning and implementation of PR, marketing and communications strategy and planning
Collaborate with management to achieve specific communication goals, objectives and evaluation methods to determine program success.
Manage, execute, track and optimize social media campaigns.
Lead the management, tracking, submissions and work to refine strategy of the Amobee Company awards programs and submissions.
Support the creation of all company communications as needed, including internal email communications, google and powerpoint slides, manage the Amobee Sales Newsletters.
Maintain all PR trackers, including coverage, client friendlies, and outside PR agencies and ensure all PR resources are up to date.
Contribute to the paid and earned social media activities to increase Amobee's visibility and differentiation in the market.
Build effective relationships with the regional media and/or community contacts and internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in managing and developing content on the company's website content, social media pages, slides and internal and external communications.
Support on employee and executive Bios.
Manage Amobee internal PR efforts (those not managed by agency)
Support and coordination with international regions as needed.
Assist in developing quarterly and annual reporting for Singtel, Amobee's parent company.
Support the management of internal and external relationships with (partners, sponsors, organizing committees, and prospective supporters) by developing formal and informal communications.
Represent the Amobee brand in the marketing and PR community by attending key networking and social events.
Maintain marketing/public relations files and contacts; company Intranet Pages, Slack, external Amobee Profile pages such as Glassdoor, LinkedIn and others as needed.
Support Global Amobee PR, Marketing, Executive and Leadership Teams.
Support on creation of case studies and client facing communications as needed.
Support on all external press releases and global press release launches.
Builds relationships crucial to the success of the organization, including the senior management team and cross functional teams, and manages a variety of special projects.
Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
Support of Amobee Marketing & PR budgeting and Amobee Marketing & PR expense report process, managing monthly Amobee Concur Reconciliation and expense reporting.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in journalism, communication, public relations or marketing preferred.
1-2 years of relevant industry experience working in PR, marketing, digital advertising or social media
Advanced level Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of GoogleDoc Suite / Microsoft Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - AP Style preferred.
1. Demonstrated creative ability with regard to writing, promotions, and social media along with strong editing skills.
2. Requires highly developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with executives and public stakeholders.
Ability to think critically and strategically and apply learnings to proactively improve all outcomes.
Knowledge of current trends and techniques in marketing, public relations, media relations, and advertising and social media.
Knowledge of the advertising technology industry is preferred
Skilled in managing multiple projects for delivery in a timely manner and within the fiscal budget.
Exhibit professionalism at all times.
Strong work ethic, integrity and high level of confidentiality to ensure proper handling of sensitive information as you are working with executive team and have access to highly confidential information.
Self-Starter and have the ability to multi-task and proactively manage all logistics for a given task.
Be able to work quickly under pressure in fast paced, high volume of activity and a deadline driven environment.
Organizational skills that enable work efficiency on an individual and team basis.
Passionate about public relations, marketing and technology.
Ability to manage corporate social media accounts and execute paid social media advertising.
