Budget Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Remote- Local Candidates only)
12-Month Assignment (potential to extend / convert)
Pay: $35-40 / HR
Our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, CA is looking for a Budget Analyst to join their team. This role will directly support the Medical Enterprise department.
Responsibilities:
- Create, build, and maintain financial models
- Will work with and collaborate with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and external vendors
- Develop new financial reports and tracking / reporting on KPI's
- Analyze and explain financial data to non-finance individuals, as well as Budget/Variance Analysis
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business or related field
- 2-3 years of accounting (fund accounting) or financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge is a plus)
- Experience as a Budget Analyst
- Proficiency in MS Excel (V-Look ups, Pivot Tables, Sum-ifs)
- Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts
- Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson)
