Role Responsibilities Utilizing HR and data analytics expertise, provides a strategic approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a broad portfolio of HR initiatives and projects Performs analytical deep-dives to provide insight on talent trends throughout the employee life-cycle; including: recruitment, engagement, development, retention, training, compensation, benefits, diversity and inclusion, competitor talent initiatives, and other relevant HR programs and initiatives Conducts complex end-to-end analyses, employing statistical methods to deliver data-driven, actionable insights that significantly influence the organization's people strategy Partners closely with cross-functional HR teams and other cross-functional business teams to understand and capture requirements for HR programs. Fully owns all aspects of HR program management from scope definition, roadmap creation, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and status communication Develops, documents, maintains and monitors program plans. Ensures schedules, milestones, resources and other key performance indicators (KPI) are met. Creates high-level plans to guide the detailed planning at the component level and implements at the component level Navigates complex sets of dependencies between cross-functional teams and organizational priorities to optimize the critical path, address and mitigate risks. Effectively influences internal and external teams to prioritize accordingly. Drives mitigation plans. Ensures owners are in place for each item and following up on a regular basis through program closure. Drives resolution of risk/issues, escalating, as necessary Provides full transparency of progress v. plan for the entire program, including regular status reporting to senior management, as necessary. Measures HR program's return on investment, impact, and success Establishes scalable frameworks (process, tools, etc.) for end-to-end project and stakeholder management encompassing best practice project management standards and documentation Develops and implements standards for documentation to include standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aides, and other HR communication materials Fosters cross-functional team work and promotes collaboration, coordination and consistent communication among stakeholders. Builds trusted relationships with partner teams, both internal and external, to understand prioritizations of work and ensure alignment Develops organizational change management plans, in partnership with all relevant stakeholders. Conducts stakeholder analysis to ensure all affective by change are considered and proactively addressed, as needed. Drives change management effectively to ensure program's success Maintains in-depth knowledge of best practices within HR programs, program management, and data analytics. Introduces innovative and scalable solutions to enhance HR programs, processes, and data analytics Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or related field 10 years combined experience with HR Project Management, data analysis, AND direct HR experience Preferred Requirements Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or related field PMP certification Experience working with highly technical teams, particularly software development Experience working in a start-up environment Fluency in Mandarin Technical/Specialized Skills Superior ability to conduct heavy data analysis to draw meaningful insights from talent trends Highly proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets Strong knowledge of project lifecycle phases and project management tools Demonstrated ability to create and maintain multiple project plans of varying complexity, including: scope, schedules, resources and risks Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects to deadlines, holding others accountable, and maintaining project plans with dependent efforts and major milestones Demonstrated ability to determine actual v. plan for all elements of the program and communicate status Thorough understanding of program and organizational interdependencies and ability to proactively address to optimize productivity and mitigate risk Ability to manage and resolve most program risk/issues, escalating only in the most complex situations Demonstrated ability to manage changing and/or competing priorities Ability to effectively influence internal and external cross-functional teams to meet program needs Strong understanding of HR programs and principles Proven ability to identify strategic HR solutions to business challenges and implement effectively, driving resolution and supporting business with meeting objectives Proven ability to lead change initiatives, utilizing the systematic approach to the Change Management process Proven strong relationship management skills, including utilizing partnering, consulting, and leadership skills to build credibility across all levels within the organization Demonstrated experience building and improving processes and promoting quality, with proven ability to develop and rollout scalable processes Polished and professional communication and presentations skills; demonstrated ability to translate technical information to meet the needs of the audience Proven ability to seamlessly fluctuate work approach between being detail oriented/ hands on and operating at the conceptual/strategic level TuSimple Benefits 100% employer-paid healthcare premiums for you and your family Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served every day Full kitchens on every floor with unlimited snacks, drinks, special treats, fruits, meals, and more Gym membership reimbursement Monthly team building budget Learning/education budget Employer-paid life insurance Employer-paid long and short disability TuSimple is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
