Trusted Ally Home Care is a Colorado-owned home health care company seeking to add experienced and caring PRN/Float (RN) Registered Nurses to our team in the Denver, Colorado area, Shifts up to 12 hours per day!
Your job will include skilled assessment and observation, respiratory and cardiopulmonary monitoring, taking vital signs, monitoring and managing infections, disease education, medication management and safety and falls monitoring and education. You will provide care management services as well communicating with the provider team, Trusted Ally care support team and other outside support services to ensure home safety and a current and effective care plan for top level client outcomes.
The key qualities of a good candidate for this position include the ability to work well with different client populations and build effective and congenial relationships with the client family, managing provider(s) and your Trusted Ally care team. Equally important are reliable, strong documentation and verbal and electronic communication skills using the electronic health record, and other technology. We have found that our RNs excel in building relationships with patients and their supporting family and keep up daily with documentation.
Requirements are: Home care experience is highly preferred. 2 years of recent experience working as a licensed RN, a current Colorado or compact RN license, current BLS/CPR certification, TB test within the last 2 years, and the experience and ability to work independently without close supervision. The ability to lift 50 pounds.
Preferred qualifications are: Experience with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disease, CPAP, ventilator, pain management and long-term care patients and Non-Smokers
