Job Description – TrueCoders Instructor
The Instructor role involves preparing students to become effective software developers. The Instructor guides students through the initial stages of learning computer programming, teaching them not only how to write code but also how to solve common types of problems faced by developers. The Instructor will demonstrate topics to students by live-coding in front of the class, presenting lectures, encouraging and answering questions, meeting one-on-one with students, and reviewing each student’s code. The Instructor is responsible for improving the technical skillset of all students prior to graduation. The Instructor will also help with other operations, such as meeting with potential future students, community outreach events, resume and interview preparation, and working closely with the manager of the location.

-Candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency and comfort with C#, SQL & relational databases, and Git.
-Candidate must be able to demonstrate familiarity, interest, or a willingness to learn TDD, ASP.NET MVC, Python, APIs, and Java.
-Candidate must be able to communicate complex software development concepts to new developers.
-Experience in HTML/CSS/JS is a plus.
