Job Description
Trudere, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Analyst.
Responsibilities Include:
- The incumbent shall consult, review, and advise leadership/customer on acquisition and contractual issues.
- Support the principal procurement staff and liaison activities with Army Contracting Command.
- Support the coordination of annual meetings.
- Review and, as applicable, prepare and provide feedback on acquisition documents submitted for leadership/customer approval and/or concurrence.
- Support the process for approval of all contracted services and support.
- Support the development and maintenance of local acquisition policies and procedures.
- Provide insight of contractual reporting requirements.
- Support the management of Panel for Documentation of Contractors (PDC), and related annual Inventory of Contracts for Services (ICS) tasker.
- Assist in the maintenance of acquisition document files and inventory logs.
- Initiate and coordinate preparation of Acquisition Plans, Strategy Reports, Justifications & Approvals, Market Surveys, Synopsis and other contractual documents, incorporating Life Cycle acquisition management, budget issues and innovative contracting and program acquisition approaches in consideration of the requirements of the User community.
- Focal point for development of procurement data packages, including addressing funding issues.
- Assist acquisition professionals on procurements to include contract execution, data rights, applicable regulations (FAR, DFARS, acquisition policies, procedures, etc.) and other contractual issues.
- Define, direct and lead acquisition projects and efforts.
- Schedule kickoff and follow-on Integrated Process Team (IPT) meetings. Prepares records and distributes meeting agendas, minutes and action- items while serving on IPTs as required.
- Maintain all planned and on-going contract actions through updates of the Acquisition Planning Module database on assigned programs.
- Represent leadership/customer at staff calls, meetings, conferences and briefings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
- Minimum four years’ acquisition experience in either contracting or program management.
- DAWIA or FAC Level I certified in Contracting or Program Management a plus
- Experience in all aspects of the armaments and ammunition procurement, testing, fielding, life-cycle management, demilitarization a plus.
