Triple S is recruiting and pre-interviewing for this position for Maine Paper & Janitorial.
This position will have responsibility for new business development and consultation and growing assigned accounts. The Field Sales Consultant will work closely with other sales staff, management and their support team, as well as manufacturers sales team members. Management is committed to continuous training of the Field Sales Consultant including assistance with product knowledge, sales calls, proposals and initial customer meetings to ensure the success of a Field Sales Consultant. This position seeks to build a new territory from Portland ME South to Sanford ME.
*Penetrate and grow assigned accounts
*Drive company proprietary systems sales
*New Account Development
*Communication of company “lowest total cost solution” business proposition and purpose statement
* Utilize consultative sales tools to support the implementation of “lowest total cost solutions” within your key accounts
*Complete “Client Profile” for accounts
*Provide and or coordinate systems and solution training for your assigned customers
* Support corporate initiatives as identified by company to include product launches and training programs.
*Develop account contact list to include Management, Administration, Environmental Services/Facility Maintenance, Purchasing and Operations thru the use of a CRM software.
*Utilize available and assigned resources/tools in an efficient and cost-effective manner
*Attend company sales meetings
*Support company open houses, seminars and trade fairs
*Stay abreast of product innovations and industry trends
*Communicate customer concerns to Management
*Maintain a professional appearance that is client appropriate
*Properly maintain a reliable vehicle
*1+ years’ sales, business, or marketing experience (or combination thereof) within a B2B environment.
*Must possess strong interpersonal communication skills.
*Must be detail oriented with emphasis on targeted results and measurement tools.
*Must utilize Word and Excel Software products.
*Must be able to work independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year, plus bonus depending on experience. Much higher compensation is achievable for a successful Field Sales Consultant. Automobile, related auto expenses, mobile phone, and entertainment expenses will be paid for by the Company.
