The Associate Director of Product Management, Platform Product will own all of the common surfaces, services and areas that are mutually shared across the suite of products that Tripadvisor sells to hotels and restaurants around the world. Some of these areas include:  how hotel and restaurant owners onboard into the Tripadvisor ecosystem, how they access to manage their listings and products, how they checkout and purchase paid products, how they manage their billing and payments, and how they perform other related tasks. The goal of the Platform Product team is to help business line product teams to move faster, and worry less about the "other" stuff - allowing those teams to focus more on their respective product lines and core product offerings, and less about the stuff "around the edges."  

The Associate Director of Product Management, Platform Product will manage a group of product managers that each focus on different aspects of the overall Tripadvisor B2B Platform. This role will work closely with the team, blocking and tackling whatever challenges get in the way, helping the team to make progress on their respective initiatives. 



  • Work closely with leadership teams, engineering, design, operations, sales, and other product teams to develop world class product offerings.

  • Manage a diverse team of product managers focused on various platform product offerings, including: general hotelier and restaurateur retention and acquisition, paid product purchase flows, common UIs in the Tripadvisor Management Center, and core platform data needs, to name a few. 

  • Aid the team in setting and driving towards their respective visions, developing OKRs and roadmaps, and ensuring that all initiatives line up with and support the goals of the broader organization.

  • Mentor the team, helping each product manager grow in their skill sets, focus areas, and careers. 

  • Hold a high bar for quality: ensure that every release is useful, reliable, and properly tested.

  • Have a speed wins attitude: adapt and accelerate creative solutions that demonstrate value quickly in a fast-paced work environment.



  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision-making skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate effective action plans to resolve issues.

  • Good business judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision on the business.

  • Drive to get things done -- you love to ship and exhibit tenacity in solving complex problems, finding resources and making them available when needed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively drive others that are leading multiple projects at a time.

  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with varied responsibilities.

  • Comfortable with and adaptable to change. We work in an innovative fast growth environment where products and processes evolve rapidly.

  • Teamwork skills essential; sense of humor preferred.
