Communications & Operations Coordinator
Trinity United Methodist is seeking a Communications & Operations Coor-
dinator to lead our digital communication strategy operations that support
Trinitys mission to reach our community and beyond for the Gospel of Je-
sus Christ. As well as assist in various church operational duties as back
up to the Business Administrator in accounting and administrative duties.
The duties of this position will be varied:
Developing an over-arching, in-bound marketing strategy to reach peo-
ple, and deepen engagement with both God and Gods family by lever-
aging new and emerging technology platforms.
Oversee all communication needs of the church.
Provide backup to the Business Administrator in accounting duties such
as payroll, maintaining inventories, etc.
Handle church operations including office supply purchases, office
equipment troubleshooting, maintain and update church membership rec-

Bachelors degree (marketing, journalism, or communications is a plus) or
3 years relevant experience. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the
ability to both lead and work within a team. Excellent communication skills
(both written and verbal) with an attention to detail that enables proofread-
ing content for grammar and style/tone.
Working knowledge of computer software tools such as Excel, Word,
Experience with inbound marketing techniques. Experience with
WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Automated Church Systems software
(ACS) or other accounting software, HTML/CSS. Understanding of the
unique communication needs of a Christian Church community.
