Reporting Relationship:

The Human Resource Specialist will be joining the Human Resource department reporting to the Senior Human Resource Representative.

Job Overview:

Trinity Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resource Specialist to join our growing team and play a crucial role in leading various aspects of the Human Resources functions. If you are a detail-oriented, knowledgeable HR professional with expertise in health benefits, worker’s compensation, wage, and labor laws across states, and full life-cycle recruiting, we encourage you to apply.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1.       Health Benefits Administration:

·         Administer and manage employee health benefits programs.

·         Assist employees with benefit inquiries and resolve benefit-related issues.

·         Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements.

2.       Workers’ Compensation:

·         Oversee and manage workers' compensation claims process.

·         Collaborate with insurance providers and legal counsel as needed.

·         Maintain records and documentation related to workplace injuries and claims.

3.       Wage and Labor Laws:

·         Stay up to date on federal and state wages and labor laws.

·         Ensure company compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

·         Provide guidance to management and employees on labor law matters.

4.       Full Life-Cycle Recruiting:

·         Coordinate and manage the entire recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.

·         Develop job descriptions, conduct interviews, and make job offers.

·         Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and create effective recruitment strategies.

5.       HR Compliance and Documentation:

·         Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files and documentation.

·         Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

·         Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

6.       Employee Relations:

·         Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters.

·         Address employee concerns, disputes, and grievances in a professional and confidential manner.

·         Conduct employee investigations surrounding misconduct.

·         Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
  • Strong ability to work with numerous interruptions, distractions, and changing priorities.

Schedule:

·         Monday to Friday

·         Flexible start time

Compensation:

$60,000-70,000 annually DOE

Education and Experience:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or
  • HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or
  • Prior work experience in Human Resources with a strong focus on health benefits, worker’s compensation, FMLA, ADA, wages and labor laws, and full life-cycle recruiting

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Possible travel required.
