Job Description

At Trillium, we assist our clients in finding just the right candidates to fit their needs! They are currently seeking a  Manufacturing Operations Analyst to perform functions to oversee the coordination and administration, enhancement, and support of various corporate Manufacturing Shop Floor Enterprise software applications and end-user/desk-top Help Desk resolution.

  • Determines internal Shop Floor customer information needs by understanding various business functions, gathering information, evaluating and recommending output requirements and formats
  • Designs Shop Floor informational deliverables by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow diagrams, understanding system capabilities, writing specifications to meet customer needs, and creating the agreed-upon deliverable
  • Utilizes project management skills and tools to track activity, identify and resolve problems, publish progress reports, and recommend action steps for various team members
  • Plans and conducts structured testing of database designs to confirm functionality and optimal IT system performance
  • Identifies and resolves IT application problems related to the use of database management system software or utilities
  • Provides Shop Floor end-user/desk-top Help Desk support and resolution to all user problems
  • Researches Manufacturing system or equipment issues to resolve user problems
  • Sets up and activates new Shop Floor user accounts and edits active accounts as needed
  • Purchases standard IR/IT equipment as needed
  • Coordinates the tracking and updating of all software licenses with third-party support vendor
  • Coordinates system down time and emergency shutdown procedures with third-party support vendor
  • Assists with the design layout of end-user computers
  • Researches and tests new technologies and systems providing recommendations to the Director of IR/IT
  • Supports ERP (Adage) and WMS (Whistle) software including systems and user base
  • Writes programs and/or scripts to assist in collecting data or automating a process in an effort to create efficiency
  • Point of contact for outside services/contractors
  • Performs other functions as necessary


  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience
  • 3+ years' experience with MS SQL Server query tools, database programming, report writing, documentation, and auditing of the reporting process
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and working with an ERP system; knowledge of INFOR Adage ERP or CoolEarth Whistle WMS a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005 and Crystal Reports 2008
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Visual Basic, .NET 2010, PGP
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Windows Servers 2003-2012R2, MS Remote Desktop Server 2012R2, and PowerShell
  • Working knowledge of Exchange 2007 and Mobile ActiveSync
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
